If you have a crush on someone, there’s a good chance that someone enjoys eating cookies just as much as you do – if not, more. If you’re even slightly experienced with baked goods, you’re capable of making some cookies that will make your crush go wild!
Let’s check out some of the cutest (and simple) cookie recipes around, that are sure to make your crush fall head-over-heels for you.
Conversation Heart Cookies
Ah, conversation hearts. You either love them, or you hate them, but when it comes to baking cookies for your crush – there’s no cuter option. This adorable recipe calls for a decent amount of conversation heart candies, but if you want to alter the recipe and just use them as decoration, that’d be perfectly acceptable considering that conversation hearts are just make out of actual chalk dust – at least I think.
Anyways, these cookies are a great little gift for your crush because it sends a nice message and tastes delicious at the same time. You might even want to take out some of the cutest “conversations” from each heart that describes the way you feel about them and then stick them to the face of the cookie.
They take about 20 minutes to bake, and about 45 minutes total to create. So you’re looking at about an hour of work dedicated to making your crush feel all hot in the cheeks – and it’s going to be totally worth it. Just try it out!
Sweet Cherry Linzer Torte Cookies
ALright, we are stepping things up a bit with this new recipe. Playtime is over, and now it’s time to bake a cookie that your crush won’t be able to resist. It’s called a Linzer Torte Cookie, and it’s basically a jelly cookie with customizable little messages you can create yourself!
By cutting out a small portion of the top layer, you can create letters and display the sweet, gooey center of delicious cherry jam. And a little powdered sugar wouldn’t hurt either. Just be sure that you spell everything correctly. You don’t want to bake for 2.5 hours just to end up with a message that says, “Be My Valintine?”
If you aren’t very comfortable with baking yet, you certainly will be after you spend a couple of hours making these cookies. In the end, it’ll all be worth it. When your crush bites into that soft cookie and lights up like a Christmas tree, you’ll know that you did well.
Peanutty Valentine Cookies
For our final cookie, we are going to make some peanut butter cookies that are undoubtedly the most delicious cookies I’ve found on the internet. They’re called Peanutty Valentine Cookies, and they feature some of those melty chocolate hearts that you always find in big bags at the grocery store – you know the ones. You can get the full recipe right here.
Unlike the Cherry Liner Cookies, this recipe won’t take you much time to produce at all. A measly 25 minutes is all it takes to get these things out on the cooling sheet.
Your crush will fall to the floor the moment they bite into one of these bad boys. The peanut butter cookie is a classic, and when you take something so classicly “Valentine’s day” and throw it right on top, you’ve got yourself a recipe for love (and cookies, I guess). Have fun everyone!
